No one, and that incudes Marlin Byrd...... and they probably won't for the rest of the off season, the AssWipes!
At least the Royals have a pulse.

JSAB....I am just so frustrated about my beloved Boys in Blue this off season. I am not jealous of the Yankee and Red Sox fans because their teams "get it".
I am so sick and tired over putting out 5 figures worth of season ticket money every year so I can watch guys like JEFF SAMARDZIA and now MARLIN F'N BYRD make asses out of themselves each year.

GAME...I believe you are a Chicago guy....so tell me what you think about this theory:
Since the Cubs seem so hell-bent on making Sandberg the next manager, I think they gave Maddux this non-job to get him around the ball club in preparation for becoming the Cub pitching coach for Ryne when he takes over for Lou Pineilla...around May 15, when they are about 10 games under .500.

jsab you said it. Cub fans dont realize why they have not won a title in over 100 years. The reason is they sell out every game every year no matter how the team is doing. They go just for the beer and bars around Wrigley Field. I am a Cardinal fan but I lived in Chicago for 6 years at one point. I thought it was great, because I was able to go to a big ass party at the game and see them lose, it was a great situation for me overall. Bottom line though, show your disapproval if you want to win by not showing up until management puts a good team on the field for you. If fans continue to show up no matter how the team plays, bottom line is it is still a business and until fans speak up, dont change a thing and continue to make your money. Right now though, their payroll is up, they just have made some stupid signings.
