JSAB....I am just so frustrated about my beloved Boys in Blue this off season. I am not jealous of the Yankee and Red Sox fans because their teams "get it". &#xD;&#xA;I am so sick and tired over putting out 5 figures worth of season ticket money every year so I can watch guys like JEFF SAMARDZIA and now MARLIN F&#x27;N BYRD make asses out of themselves each year.

Well I am a Phils fan and when the product does not meet the standards of the cost you only have 1 way to voice your displeasure and thats hit them where it hurts.DON&#x27;T attend or purchase anything that they offer.

&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;GAME...I believe you are a Chicago guy....so tell me what you think about this theory:&#xD;&#xA;Since the Cubs seem so hell-bent on making Sandberg the next manager, I think they gave Maddux this non-job to get him around the ball club in preparation for becoming the Cub pitching coach for Ryne when he takes over for Lou Pineilla...around May 15, when they are about 10 games under .500.

Tough for me to opine. I loved Sandberg and I loved Maddux although I will be the first to admit, Sandberg is no rocket scientist.Not sure what Hendry is doing. That Milton Bradley fiasco was a joke. Heilman was a waste, although I didn&#x27;t think it was bad at the time. Fukudome is the most overpaid player in the league. I knew Gregg would lose the closer&#x27;s job in less than a year. Not sure Piniella can be blamed, but they very well could be in trouble. They are weak up the middle and their stars are getting older.I had higher expectations last year. As of today, I am not expecting all that much.

jsab you said it. Cub fans dont realize why they have not won a title in over 100 years. The reason is they sell out every game every year no matter how the team is doing. They go just for the beer and bars around Wrigley Field. I am a Cardinal fan but I lived in Chicago for 6 years at one point. I thought it was great, because I was able to go to a big ass party at the game and see them lose, it was a great situation for me overall. Bottom line though, show your disapproval if you want to win by not showing up until management puts a good team on the field for you. If fans continue to show up no matter how the team plays, bottom line is it is still a business and until fans speak up, dont change a thing and continue to make your money. Right now though, their payroll is up, they just have made some stupid signings.

St Louis is the best on paper..They did lose Pinera and Carpenter is always a arm injury away..Ryan Franklin i wouldnt think could be as good as last yr..There offense is great..Cubs still have talent and I think Soto will be better this yr..Milwakee has made a few pickups and could be a little better..Escobar at ss will be special..Im a Reds fan...Good young pitching but this team needs a bat so bad and management does nothing..Ankil in GAB would have been good..Astros are getting old..Pirates are too young...Last yr at this time Cubs were the heavy favorite but we all know what there yr was like...GL to everyones teams
