Those Flubs barely got off the schneid in the World Series of 2016. Remember that? Remember how tight the Flubs fans were in Games 3, 4, and 5 at Wrigley Field? The players felt it from the stands, 108 straight seasons of never winning it all. The fans were so scared of losing that it made the home team in pinstripes scared of failing. The Flubs scored a total of 5 runs in those three home games, but a 3-run inning against Trevor Bauer in Game 5 was just enough to avoid choking away all the Wrigley games. They barely avoided elimination that night with a 3-2 win.
