Im so jealous of you guys who are fans of the Phillies, Yankees, Dodgers, and Angels. Whether your team wins or loses you atleast have the chance to taste the post season as a fan. Year after year I have nothing to look forward to after September. Those fucking bums in Houston and Arlington give me nothing to cheer for. Fuck them.

Hell, dont get me started on other sports. The fucking Cowboys wont even make the playoffs this year. They need to firee Wade Phillips fat ass and Jason Garret too. Bring in someone who will run Romo's "uncle Rico" ass out of town. Its so hard to be a pro sports fan in Texas.

The Astros went to the World Series a few years back and were consistently going to the playoffs the few years before that. They're in a slump right now but they'll come back.
The Rockets went to the playoffs this last NBA season as well and barely lost out to the Lakers in the last game of the series.
U of H is doing pretty damn good this year considering previous years, with upsets against two big NCAAF teams, OU and UT.
UT's another one. How can you NOT be a fan of Texas sports during the Red River Rivalry?
Then there's the Texans, who are getting better each Season and won outright against the Bengals who some were saying were shaping up to be a definite playoff team and would roll over the Texans.
Yeah, the Cowboys suck, but hey, nothing new there. The Rangers aren't so great either, but at least up in Dallas you've got the Mavericks and they ain't half bad themselves. Hell down in San Antonio we've got the Spurs who usually do really well.
If you wanna get obscure, let's get into Soccer: The Sport no one gives a crap about. The Houston Dynamo are DOMINANT in the Soccer league and brought home the championship title last year.
What I'm getting at here is that unlike a lot of other states, with the size of the state comes A LOT of sports teams, not all of which are All star championship franchises, but most do well enough on their own during the season. If there's one thing you can say for Texas fans that you can't for some other places, it's that we're loyal to our teams even when the going gets tough. So just stick with it man, don't just be a bandwagon fan and cheer when they're doing good and hate on them when they have a bad year.

The Rangers have been horrible my entire life! It is frustrating to say the least. At least the Mavs made a run and the Stars and Cowboys have some titles but the Rangers will always suck !
