Nice play and Tigers did not even have to be close in last inning to win!  Padres better figure it out if they want to win anything in the post season; soon; they have closer issues in the last couple of weeks like the Yanks.  Not what you want in September.

I don't think SD has any pen issues. They have 4 guys capable of closing. Suarez was used up too much last few games. Tried to blow all 100 mph fastballs by the kid and he finally barreled one up. Simple as that. The walks were the problem though.
