It seems like most on here have been getting killed or just breaking even. Some who started out well would keep a record and now don't even bother. Last night had Cubs, under Pads/Nats and Brew Crew 1st 5. Those were pretty brutal outcomes. I don't even bet everyday but when I do its normally always the same. As you can see betting 1st 5, FG, O/U doesn't matter. Maybe I should only invest in props or just stay away until football season probably the best thing

I believe the successful people are those who know when to bet big and when they lose, they know how to regroup, whereas most gamblers who lose a big bet fold like a tent

Baseball is a great sport to wager one Just do not play a lot of huge favorites Totals are good too as they are not juiced too much My advice is if you are a $100 punter or whatever the dollar amount is play that on your plays Meaning if a team is -140 do not lay -140 Just stake $100 that way you can minimize losses

I ended up +83 units last season... this season has been tough... the thing about mlb is that its such a grind... I had close to if not over 1000 plays and over 400 loses. You never know what order those Ls and w's will come in.. turns out the Ls have come out early this year.. GL this year, I hope everyone profits but...yeah

Keep in mind majority of people don't win over 50% in the long run in any sports. Look at all the records of top contestants in the covers contests, they can have good year here and there, but I all goes down to 50-53% eventually. People talk about fixing games, but there is no reason to do that with the numbers working out the way they do. There is a way to win though, nothing's impossible. Once you have done the work and lost enough, you will find a way to win.

So there has been 338 blown saves so far into the season ( A BETMGM stat and not sure how up to date it is ). I'm not sure where this ranks in previous years but that is surely is a lot before halfway thru a season. That's just the ML stat. Not sure what it is for the O/U ( like how I got screwed when Nats/Pads went to Extras ). I'm sure just as much. Not too many sports where a team can cruise comfortably for 2+ hours and then blow it on a day in and night out bases. I understand that is 338 times you can either be on right or wrong side which equates to being a coin flip so basically when it comes down its all luck at the end of the day. I'm sure there is some skill involved when capping (probably as much as Black Jack) but how tough is it to really to cap MLB compared to other sports. I know volume of betting is key but you can still go 2-8 in a 3 week span. Losing is losing no matter how much you lose and after while can be discouraging. Is there anyone here who can truly say they profit more from MLB than other sports ( And by profit I don't mean like $50 to $100 bucks after placing a 100 bets thru the course of a season ). For those who are, I applaud you and I should probably be following

I follow NFL the most and my record is usually very good, the problem is if I really like a play I'll risk a lot, which usually keeps my winning to a minimum lol.
NBA is VERY streaky, lots of weird stuff happens all the time there.
MLB is oddly my most profitable and the sport I pay attention to the least. I dont make many plays, just watch pitching vs bad teams or bad pitchers. MOST of my plays are TT's 1st 5 and -1.5 parlays given how much more scoring there is compared to when I was younger.

This actually might have been one of the very rare times not only did you make sense but you were helpful to the forum. Bravo. Wish you were like this more of the time instead of the needless bashing comments.
