Does Minny hold both tie breakers over Det/KC

Yes they have tiebreakers over both, but they're 3 back with 3 to play. They need a miracle

Seattle by contrast lost the tiebreakers over both and that's why they're already eliminated

That's what I was thinking when I seen both Sea and Min had the same records.  Question is Balti locked into there seeding or can they move down?

Baltimore would lose the tiebreaker against Detroit but win against Kansas city, but same deal 3 games up with 3 to play.  Detroit will not sweep chi Sox so Baltimore is pretty much a lock for 4 seed.

If Balti wins they can pretty much rest guys the next 2.  Just trying to find a reason to take Balti tonight

 (Detroit will not sweep chi Sox so).  Why cant he Tigers sweep the White Sox? I wouldn't bet they couldn't ....  At home, up 9-1 in season series, playoffs on the line,, Watch out, They are thee hottest team in all of baseball since the All Star break. They will keep their foot on the gas pedal to finish out the season, especially  against the White Sox

 I say they won't sweep them because after they clinch they need to focus on the 3 game playoff series, they could sweep but will have no interest nor incentive to win last 2 games.  Those will be exhibition games

Looks like WSOX can still avoid the overall worst record in the modern era so maybe they actually try but its still inevitable 

Tigers lineup is young too, so they won’t rest anyone offensively. I don’t think they’ll change pitching either. Maybe some small bullpen type in game decisions in the lead up to the playoffs. 

Not sure Tigers want to take foot off gas pedal and lose all there momentum they have achieved to  this point. I say they want to retain this headed into the playoffs. They dont want to show up in the playoffs now flat

What if tigers/royals get swept and twins sweep O’s??? Not saying it will happen but… you never know-this could very well happen.

Well Detroit has just won so if Minnesota runs the table and Kansas city loses the next 2 Minnesota will sneak in as the 6 seed.  

Just keep those memories of Tom Kelly fresh in your mind, he was quite the players manager
