2-3 yesterday. Not bad. Yanks were a debacle and TB have hit a slump with the bats. White Sox had numerous chances to break the game open but could not do so. Was sweating the Over in Minny, but a 7-run inning by the Jays cured my anxiety in a hurry. Marlins were a solid choice.
Locked in plays as follows.........
NYY -1.5 -110.
I like the Yanks to rebound today with Joba the Hut on the hill. Lot of pressure to win after yesterday's turkey and I think the Tribe lets down emotionallyu after their stunning win. Can't play the ML at -200+ with NY's middle relief problems. Reyes is totally hittable and I think the Yankees get to him early. The stars are aligned here for a Yankee win by a few.
Houston -145
Stros have strung a couple of wins in a row. Roy Oswalt is Forever-0 vs the Reds. Sure he has been iffy of late, but I'm not bucking that trend.
Toronto -125
Blue Jays have been killing the ball early in the season scoring at a rapid and voluminous rate. I don't care who is on the mound, I'm riding the BJ's until they slow down.
Texas +101
See Toronto game. KC may not have the offence to stay with the Rangers. Meche has the edge in the pitching match-up, but again the Rangers are swinging the bats with proficiency and could very well win this late coming from behind. Home dog.
Tampa Bay -1.5 +115
Similar logic to the Yankee game. Tampa's bats have gone into a hiatus suddenly, but today they face a batting practice pitcher in Bartolo (have another donut) Colon for the Pale Hose. Taking the RL since it's the best value in this spot as -173 on Sheilds is steep in the event the Rays hitting woes continue.
That's it for now. Looking at Seattle.
GL all.

Mariners have the edge in starting and relief pitching. Their bats have been belting RHP well of late, so on balance, Seattle is the pick. After a great rookie year, Verlander has become very mediocre in yera two and now in the beginning of year 3.
Minnesota -115
No Vlad in the line up for the Angels and Twins are a historically good home team that dropped 3 of 4 to the red hot Blue Jays in the homerdome. Angels are a great road team and represent very good value today, and that's why I'm going the other way here.
Pittsburgh +105
Pirates fell to earth recently at the hands of the Astros. Paul Malhom is their best pitcher and I'm getting him at +money as a home dog. Bravos bullpen is suspect at best and if Jurgens can't keep it close thru 6, I like the Buccos to bust out in the final 3-innings for the win. Pitt is hitting RHP .366 at home in the early going.
That's enough for today. GL all.

0-1 to start the day. Yanks had men on base all day and end up with with a slew of solo homers.
Really want to take the streaking Marlins but something is holding me back. Line seems low and the public is all over the Fish. Trying to decide if taking Florida is a cigar play. Both pitchers combined for 18 runs in their go around this season and Nolasco got hammered by the Mets. Perhaps the Over is the play.
