it is unbelievable how poor managers and players are when it comes to executing baseball fundamentals. With Bos down 2 - 1 in the 9th, JBJ rips a double to tie the game with 0 outs. Now in this situation 10 times out of 10 if the next batter isn’t a middle of the order power hitter you sacrifice bunt over to the next guy. With the light hitting Nunez at the plate, Cora eschews the bunt and proceeds to strike out. As you would expect the next batter Swihart proceeds to hit a deep fly ball, the same fly ball that would have scored JBJ easily. No big surprise that Leon proceeds to ground out killing the inning and Bos chances right then and there. It’s baseball 101 and that’s why this game has become unwatchable now.

...Blowjays lost because of an error by their SS not because of Corwley....It should have been 2 outs bottom of the 10th and noone on. 
I agree but im simply pointing out how redsox have relied on power not base hitting to win games against cupcake teams. Most of those power swings like today against a Minor league pitcher Crowley called up threw a strike right over the plate. Redsox had 18 total bases today and couldn't get any base hits to what should have been more runs for redsox. The original poster is correct by not following fundamentals and trying to advance the runner instead he got bailed out again on power hitting on a minor league pitcher.....come playoff time your not gonna get Minor league pitchers bailing you out in extra innings
