Not happy with going 2-2 yesterday so today it's time to smoke the books.
HOU ML (-110) I think Arrighetti is better than his ERA would suggest. In his last 4 starts he has a 36-6 K/BB ratio. The Phillies are 0-8 in Walker's last 8 starts. Stros get outta town with a W.
CLE ML (-150) Over the last 2 seasons, Cleveland has been swept at home only once (earlier this season by Arizona). I'll lay -150 for one of the best home teams in baseball to avoid getting swept.
COL -1.5 (+150) Revenge of the Rockies. Freeland pitches best at home and Meyers is giving up bombs left and right (9 HR in his last 6 games). Meyers making his first start at Coors isn't a recipe for changing that trend. Miami can't hit lefties and I like Freeland to go deep in this game to avoid the dreaded Rockies bullpen. Rockies start fast and this time they actually hold on to win.
OAK ML (+100) The A's are 21-14 since mid-July and haven't lost a series to a team with a losing record since June. The Reds have a losing record and are in complete disarray with their pitching staff, playing bullpen game after bullpen game. Bido has been rock solid for Oakland and the A's have one of the best bullpens in baseball. Bido hasn't gotten much run support but a 3-2 win is still a win.
