Finally we had a losing day going 1-2 and it person a boneheaded managerial
decision to do it. Not sure why Ryne Nelson pitched the ninth inning yesterday
but he did and it cost us a win. 11-3 last 3 day and 7-2 pods and hope we
rebound tonight. Lets get it

This will be a good old fashioned pitchers duel today. Yamamoto has certainly figured it out his 2nd season allowing 1 run or less in 4 of 5 games and 5 hits or less in all 5 games with 38 strikeouts in 29 innings and he did it facing the cubs twice phillies rangers and tigers. Expect him to shut down the pirates tonight who continue not to score runs. Skenes is 1-0 with a 1.46 era on the road and has allowed 2 runs or less in 4 of 5 games. We still have not seen his best yet and I think we get that tonight in this showdown game. Give le a 3-2 final here
POD # 2- SD under 7 -112 - 12.5 units
Will continue to fade the padres offense without so many pivotal starters and I really like king in this spot as I think he will hit his strikeout prop. Baz should rebound hard after rough start against beaten up pads. Give me under 7 here
