I had an early work day so I guess I could have taken the RL after all. Oh well, more juice but easier to win. I cant believe they are -230 at your book. They are actually down to -179 at my book with the fish at +159. I understand your point of a value play, but to me there is no point to bet against Dempster at home right now. This year he is 10-1 with a 2.83 era at home and the cubs as a team are 11-1. In those 11 wins, 10 of them have come by at least 2 runs, 9 have come by at least 3 runs, and 8 have come by at least 4 runs. The average margin of victory in Dempster home games is 5 rpg. To me, there is no reason to go against this at this point.
I also bet that the cubs wouldnt make the playoffs so I'm not too disappointed in todays loss. Every loss is big at this point. The White Sox just dont seem like they carry the same energy on the road that they do at home. I dont like playing them at all on the road. Gavin Floyd has been pure garbage on the road this year, but has had very good success against detroit. Too many factors in this game that gives an advantage/disadvantage to both teams, thats its probably best to lay off imo.

By lay off, I mean I would lay off the side. I'm still waiting on the umpire to see if the total may be a play. I'm leaning over at this point and am just waiting on the right umpire to push me into playing it.
