There is "talk" that he goes to the Marlins for 3 young players. All I have to say is, HA. Funniest thing I have ever heard. When you are looking to repeat, you at least rumor things that can get you a big name player like Carlos Beltran. I'm sorry, I just saw this on the bottom screen on ESPN and thought I'd share.

They described the talks as in depth and serious.

I dont think he gets moved either but I would not be surprised if he was traded.

I'm still waiting on the trade of daunte culpepper to miami to happen like ESPN said it would... uhhh last year

nevermind you know what i meant... they talked up those culpepper rumors so much at the time, and whatever ended up happening it was way after and not nearly the way it was supposedly supposed to go down

WOW...Manny is gone. Manny just told ESPNDeportes that the Red Sox do not deserve a player like me. I really think it's getting serious now.

He is a fucking idiot....As much as I hate to see him leave he is gonna cause problems. But if he leaves then so does our chances of doing anything this year....The Beltran move does not even make sense...

if they move Manny the still will pick up Jason Bay

It would be Manny for 3 probably pretty good prospects and then a move for Bay would be made.

If they feel Bay can supply enough offense then the Sox made the deal but everyone knows what Manny can do and what a loss he would be to the Sox. However it seems that it might be better for the Sox to part with him because he not playing hard and being a distraction.

pretty nuts woudl double marlins payoll over night, plus they dont need another bat they could use some pitching help if anything

Manny is finished in boston which means that the rs are finished as a  championshiop caliber team. The run is over and it will be another 99 yrs until they win another World Series.
 
MANNY WILL NEVER PLAY ANOTHER GAME IN BOSTON.

There is no person that the Red Sox could get right now that is worth Manny....Manny does a lot of things that help out the team....Protecting Papi and killing the ball are 2 huge things he does

There is a nice team waiting if we can find a huge power hitter but the team will not be as good without Manny

I have to agree. If he is gone, the Yanks and Rays will have to fight for the east, and what fun is that? But I thought Nomah ad Pedro were big losses for the Sox. And then they won some more World Series'. But they will be out of contention for the rest of this season and next season. Their pitching is good, but that can't make up for what Manny brings to the team. Not many people are talked about using their first name/nickname.

I thinks this marriage is over too. Even if he stays, i dont think he has the energy and willing to play for them again.. we will see a 50 % of Manny rest of the year..
 
Better trade him.. And get Hamilton for his place.. ?
