How hard does he throw? Does anyone know. I pounded the White Sox last night because I know the Florida Marlins do not hot junk ball pitchers well. Guys who top out at like 90 mph are get pitchers to bet against Florida. For some reason guys like Moyer, Buehrle, etc. give the Marlins problems. Buehrle threw a gem last night as just another example.
If any WHite sox fans can let me know how hard Floyd throws then I would appreciate it. IF he is another soft throwing pitcher then the WHite Sox should be again today.

Floyd is not a hard thrower with a fastball that tops in the low 90's (92-94 mph). I would not classify him as a soft tosser but he is not an over powering right hander. He needs to rely more on his ability to spot his pitches.
He has been terrible this year so I'm not sure if your theory is the right way to go right now. Possibly the under based on the lack of hitting the Sox have shown this year.
Good luck.
