Anyone know why the hell Boston just released Hanley Ramirez? Who's going to DH for then now? And why didnt they just drop the extra bench warmer instead of this guy?

That was a terrible decision.....3rd best hitter on the team. Must be a cancer in the clubhouse.

They have 7 days to trade or release him while he's owed 15 million this year.

He has no trade value if the DFA him, meaning they are going to dump him and his 15 million dollar contract for nothing. Your telling me they thought a stuff like Blake Swihart and his . 100 batting average or Nunez and his .200 batting average or those trash relievers like Embree or Johnson are all better than him? Terrible, terrible decision here.
