Clipperd was shaky as well and Parnell is a shell of his former self. Add in the suspension to Meiji and Mets bullpen all of a sudden has become their greatest weakness. It is beyond me they didn't go after an established closer like Papelbon but they still have a chance with the horse in the other clubhouse, Kimbrel. If not him then Soria would be a competent replacement.

I think your right, it would revert back to 8th since Mutts don't get their at bat in 9th

It does not appear they will be finishing it anytime soon though.  But they will probably wait it out since only 3 outs remain.  You never know though.

Yes. If the game gets called, they revert back to the last complete FULL inning.

Actually, come to think of it, perhaps they suspend the game and complete the inning at a later date. If that's the case, all bets would be cancelled.

They would have called it genius. You're praying to god for it to end. They will ride it out. The mets ground crew should be fired for that.
