The best way is to look for spots in big games that the player knows hes going to win or the network (someone like espn) or the sportsbook itself, regular handicapping of comparing stats or something is useless

And your bookie will pay you with a smile. Every joker that hits one big parlay will think he is a genius and this is easy; so, he ups the ante on his parlays, maybe even adds a team or two, and goes broke in a hurry. Parlays are not "a lot of money for a small investment", they are a trap that gets the last penny out of a guy that was too broke to be gambling in the first place.
If you cannot win, one wager at a time, over the course of a year, you are not a handicapper and may as well hang it up. Life, reality. You also will learn nothing worthwhile in this forum. The true winners are few, and won't take you on as an apprentice, because the 99% B.S. you see will capture your imagination as though it were the road to the promised land, and it would just be the same old thing they have witnessed time and time again. Hence, it is not worth the effort. Just watch how many times a guy lauds and compliments his favorite capper, and then proceeds to tell him what he ought to bet.
Get out now, and good luck to you.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

If you haven't done this before I probably wouldn't start with baseball, for me it's the most difficult sport to handicap. Football was a natural progression for me and personally speaking it's much easier to handicap. Profitable for me for a number of years, couple losing years but mostly winning years, after I paid my dues for the first 2 or 3 years. Keep your plays minimal and consistent. Picking the winner, ML/side is the best place to start. Keep it simple. It's not a get rich quick scheme. Do your research. Best of luck to you!

If you are using sports interaction I’m guessing you’re in Canada. Sign up for bet365 instead would be my first advice. In my experience usually you are cashed out by early morning.
also in baseball if your team goes ahead 5 runs your an automatic winner. They also have the same thing for other sports but I couldn’t give you the exact numbers off the top of my head.

Second thing is that some of these guys telling you to just avoid betting are giving you good advice. This isn’t an easy thing to stomach at times. But hey if you have some disposable income. Go for it… don’t bet what you can’t afford to lose and keep it “fun”
