Help me understand this on Scherzer

Not that this is an indication of real live pitching, but he was throwing looked pretty good in the pen. 

It's a valid point, it seems a bit remarkable to heal that fast.

They should him throwing and running around last night. He looked fine. As far as him not being able to get out of bed or move, well believe what you want to believe. I do believe my eyes from last night and he looked healthy loose and ready to go. 

21st century medicine mate. If this was not the World Series, Scherzer would be in the 10 day injury list. But it´s not, bring em medicines and worry about the pain in a week

NFL players do it all the time...Take a pain killer shot and its all good.   Its amazing what drug and Adrenaline can do to the body.

Way back in the 1960s pitchers including Sandy Koufax got cortisone shots...the 'left arm of God' got his shots for elbow pain a lot of the times. I miss seeing him pitch...the thing that was special about Mr. Koufax was the movement on his 4 seam fastball and his overhand curve. The fastball would rise late as it got to the plate and the curve would drop straight downward at the plate. 
A lot of great pitchers over the years threw harder than him but only one Sandy Koufax...
