Not the same numbers as these... but yesterday I took a look at the Ump stats vs teams and pitchers for the Phillies(Halladay) vs Rockies(Cook) game and got a really bad feeling about my Phillies wagers after seeing it.... we all know what happened...

Yep... Phillies lost.

I will be keeping my eye on those for now on...

3 losses? So there's still a chance.

Under seems 100x better. Assuming the weather is cold that is. If it's like it has been for the first 3 games...with CC and Verlander on the mound...you have to take the under imo.

But...the rain may make this game unplayable. I haven't paid attention to the forecast but all I was hearing yesterday was that it will be awful today.

I'm gonna avoid a side here with that rain forcast since the starters could be bumped by a game interupted by rain after it starts. Makes no sence for me to pick a side based on pitchers with the chance they get bumped by rain. I was gonna take C.C. but YES... Under seems better. Good Luck.

With this thinking why would the under be a better bet?

If you assume both pitchers are going to be bumped than the over would be the better play.  You would get several extra innings of bull pen.

The weather has been absolute piss the last 3 days here in Minneapolis.  Detroit will pretty much be getting our old crap and it sounds like it's showing up today.

Miranda is up and playing 1st, with Tex at DH.  (Miranda is pretty shitty in the field, fyi)

Lineup: Jeter, Gardner, Tex, ARod, Cano, Po, Miranda Winn Golson

I'm going with the homer Yanks play, btw.

Yanks have Miranda and Golson and Winn in the lineup today.  I hope they do well, but this is  a weak lineup for the Yankees.

CC is all that matters. Everything else will fall in place.  Halladay didn't look good in his last start, so he is a bad example.   A friend tells me "Load the wagon, don't worry about the mules going blind."  Let's get it on

I made a similar assessment myself, but that solidified my Rockies bet. It was a close one either way.

They are 6-1 vs Lefty's and SF 3-7 with hohn behind the dish.  The over is 10-1 for SF with hohn but I'm not playing it, I really like this Latos kid.
