Don't get me wrong, women journalists are very good in sports and work very hard. This young lady knows nothing. I'd like to hear her say something that is articulate and interesting for the listeners but no.
I'm almost positive that many women (mom's) listening and watching the broadcast would agree. I honestly hope she improves. Very nice young lady but the booth is no bueno.

Joe was a hell of a player, but as an announcer, he absolutely s*cked.
First started to despise Joe when he started b*tching about guys stealing bases when he started batting third for the Big Red Machine.
But, I guess it was okay for Joe to steal 50,60, 70 bags in front of Johnny Bench and Tony Perez......
Ms. Mendoza was a four-time First Team All-American for the Stanford Cardinal. She never got close to the "Mendoza Line" in college because this gal could RAKE. I know it's fast pitch softball, but what else could she do? She was on the Women's National Team, and went to the Olympics twice, getting a Gold and Silver medal. It's not like she's unfamiliar with the game......
She is surely better than idiot Aaron Boone, who is remembered only for running into one for the Yankees during the 54 games he played for them.......I'm almost surprised they didn't up a plaque for him in center field.........
She HAS to be better than Curt Schilling, who is mostly remembered for the stuff he has done and said OUTSIDE the booth. I have not missed him at all...........
Kruk is at least funny, but after talking about how athletic first basemen are and food, that's about it.........
