1. Bet money that you can not even care about the game and can just comeback and see the end result score. Once you have this down, you wont destroy yourself like most gamblers do.
2. Pick a strategy and stick with it
3. Create a money management plan and stick with it, just make sure its not ripping your bankroll to shreds.
4. Chase only when its a system of yours and chase with a money management plan that is so low you barely care if you lose 2 or 3 chase's
5. Go with the streak for the most part
6. Win a few games early? Take that as a victory, i dont care if its 50 bucks, if your going to bet at niightbecause you feel like you should be up more , dont , tell yourself you won and on to tommorrow.
7. End of the night big bet(s), up 1000 dollars at 5 pm , and lose 900 of it at 8......dont go big on a 10 pm game or the last game just to sleep well at night. Whats done is done and your still up.
8. Same goes for being down. If your down 400 bucks and had a bad night, tell yourself its only 400 and you can make that up easily through the course of the week or make it up another week if your paying out weekly.
Dont become a degenerate. Research is fine as long as your consistant and money management is good. Put in your games and enjoy the day. Dont become glued to the PC or TV, that means you have already lost, unless you can put money on a game and watch it for fun, win or lose.

Gamblers would rather just have action, winning means little at the end of the day.You can never win enough to be happy, but action will be there everyday..

Live betting and backing up original bets depending on play and feel can play alot into it as well. It is a real time sink and takes alot of brain power. if you always just bet it and forget it you're not making the max you can imo.
yea thats true, but not all can win during live betting. It's all a risk anyway. Your not also losing the max you probably would if you started caring too much.

With all due respect, that first option was one of the worst piece of advice to becoming a successul gambler.
In my humble opinion, it is absolutely essential to watch as many full games of baseball to truly understand the ebb and flow of a season, tendencies of a team's players/management, and how a team reacts to adversity/changes (being blasted on ESPN negatively/they're facing a team they got swept by earlier in the season, etc...). You have to actually watch these games to understand these things.
Good luck to you...

I mean yea you watch baseball a little bit, you do your numbers crunching, but you really do not need to watch this stuff. It's a waste of time, and it just shows your in it for the action. The less you care about the game , the less emotional you become and less stupid things you do.
When you see 5-4 final and you lose, thats all it should be, a 5-4 loss
not a Grandslam by Pinch Hitter John LAckey which will drive you insane
