Either it's just endemic in MLB or I have a serious knack for picking them. Yesterday the Marlins go up 3-0 and lose, despite retaking the lead after it got tied at 4 apiece.
Today after going up 4-0 the Twins have not only blown the lead, they give up SEVEN unanswered.
I can't remember the last time I had a team that was down 3 or 4 and I won. This kind of thing only happens to the teams I bet on, never to their opponents.
Yesterday the reliever gave up the gamewinning HR on his first pitch. Today the guy comes in gives up an RBI triple to tie, runner on 3rd scores on a grounder, and then he gives up back to back homers to the next 2 guys.
Sigh. I just needed to have a rant. It's not losing the wager so much as how its happening, blown leads of 3 or more runs is kind of ridiculous to have happen in back to back plays.

Exactly what I've been saying for a while now --These blown leads are getting out of control---You think you are good and the bam--look at the Mariners last night ---Up 7-0 nothing----WOW

You know guys, I'm starting to think a bunch of roided up knuckledraggers swinging a log at a lump of cork might not be the easiest thing to predict after all.
And this was after I had come to the conclusion that MLB was way better than NFL or NBA to bet on because the endings weren't affected so much by the refs trying to keep the game close and make it more exciting and coaches trying to play the clock instead of the game. No phantom roughing the passer to extend the final drive of the losing team. No hold the ball until the shot clock is at zero and tossing a brick instead of just running the offense that got you in a position to score baskets and win in the first place. No sweating out free throws and desperation 3s. No coaches forgoing FGs on 4th down like they all do now, no stupid missed PATs because they moved the try back.
But it's just as silly as any other game with these bullpens getting lit up and teams scoring 3 or 4 in the 1st or 2nd inning and then bats are silent the entire rest of the game.
