I think so. Only 15 teams came back to win after being down 0-2. Last year DBacks did it vs Phi.

Yeah, i' d say so -but I'd say Guards take 2 of 3 @ home to send it back to Yankee Stadium depending on how Cleveland pitching can hold up.

Never mind- Cleveland may manage 1 W in the series, because their pitching has been a disaster first early on in both games. Team that struggles to hit the ball can't afford to dig themselves that deep a hole.

Indians do not have the starting pitching at all.

The fact that they are even here is impressive.

Gavin Williams has been a flop. Cookie Carrasco gone. Shane Bieber has been out all year.

They messed up when they didnt acquire a true starter instead of Cobb and Boyd at the deadline.

I was saying the same thing myself.....how the hell did the Guardians win so many games without 3 good starters?

Beebee 12 - 8

Boyd 2 -2

Cantillo 2 - 4

Lively 13 - 10 with an almost 4 ERA

Williams 3 - 10

Cobb, playing while injured recently....

their bullpen was awesome all year.

Lively was off to a hot start until around the all star break.

Sooner or later that bullpen is gonna get exhausted. Its not like their offense has been lighting it up.

Vogt and that staff deserve a lot of credit though. Same with the Tigers staff. They had one starter as well basically in Skubal.

Fun fact: Since the ALCS moved to a best-of-7 series format, 5 of the 6 teams to have managed 4-0 sweeps all went on the lose the subsequent WS. Yankee fans, start praying you don't sweep.
