You need to tailor a betting system which suits. It should always be evolving and money management is key. I&#x27;m over 40%ROI on season (see my thread) betting day in day out and there are others also who have faired well. There are days like today where form and study doesn&#x27;t work like it does on other days. You have to almost expect to have a bad day after a good one. Baseball is the greatest challenge, but an extremely rewarding one if you can prove to do well over long term.

Keep betting baseball and you will get more n more joke days like today no sport is easy I agree but I never seen a more inconsistent sport then mlb .two years in a row now I have made a profit nba to lose it all in mlb trying to learn the sport. I can empathize. But this season I&#x27;m killing it. My roll is up 47%. In August I&#x27;m at 39-17 or 67%.  And I&#x27; ve been hitting a lot of plus money lines. When I hit Houston over Oakland at &#x2B;215 a few weeks back that was a book builder. Today I had Philly &#x2B;127 and Boston &#x2B;109. Playing all chalk normally kills you. And don&#x27;t get too caught up in "public money" moves. I never acknowledge it and I&#x27;m rolling. Don&#x27;t over think all your bets. Play some gut based on your knowledge of the gave. Analytics has it&#x27;s place. But gotta trust you eyes and what you&#x27;re seeing on the field. The good teams lose. Gotta hit those games and find sexy plus ml and rl. That&#x27;s how you win in Baseball, in my humble opinionGL!

How else do u learn? R u saying any beginner gambler makes a fake account n tracks his record for 3 proven seasons then starts betting? My mistake was I kept the same unit size as nba n sadly I chased which killed my bankroll

No, I&#x27;m not saying that at all. You should bet according to what you know and have confidence in. If you are betting relatve to your knowledge in a given sport, then that&#x27;s well and good, but when you are betting the same stakes on a sport you are learning as you would bet on your preferred sport, you are bound to lose, which obviously you have. I&#x27;ll give you an example of sensible betting. I know baseball betting better than soccer betting. I wanted to bet on the World Cup just gone, but I gave myself a limit of -10% ROI. So if I struck -10% during that WC which funny enough I did then I call it quits. There is NO Gawd damn way I would give up my baseball profit for a sport I&#x27;m not so familiar betting.

here is a few tips- been doing this for almost 30 years in mlb, an have had a winning season for 26 strait years. and im up this year.

Rarely play the fav more than -130 unless in a parlay . NEVER play the home team laying 1 1/2, -this is one that many get eat up in. playing the away team plus r/l is fine. Don't always play the best pitcher-that's what 80% do! . Playing the home team in mlb most of the time is another mistake. one should be playing the away team more. So, if your playing the home team more or much more the chances are you will lose. Don't forget the books usually need the away team!!. Forget the past stats -they rarely mean anything. in fact most offshores love it when you read the stats.im not saying past stats are unreliable but overall they don't amount too much.

Sorry to hear about the frustration of losing... trust me I have been there.

Most of you guys are wrong though. The few bettors that understand how to profit from baseball really clean up - more than any sport.

If you study the industry from a book perspective... they don't really earn much taking baseball wagers. This is their lowest earning sport, and to some basically breaks even. But just like the milk and bread at the grocery store, it is the loss leader.

If you cannot profit, then don't wager. paper trade different ideas of how to wager until you have some confidence. then try to take their cash

&#xD;&#xA;Use Covers for stats, team past performance, situations, comparisons and game info in crafting your upcoming game investment(s).  Never rely on these forums for game/investment advice, tailing, etc.  Only use the forums for entertainment purposes and to normally see what Joe Public is doing and crying about.  &#xD;&#xA;Xeno seems to have a few points, as well since situations prevail over the common man&#x27;s perception of starting pitchers, home team, "Yankees", etc...etc...  And remember, most of the top teams usually end up a tad bit above .500
