The thing is one swing of the bat could mean your bet wins or loses and your total etc. You can have very good teams blowing out teams so easily. Then somehow they lose against the worst possible team.
I had looked at alot of lines where many seems to look like traps. Many times i would bet the other side because it looks good to be true. And most of these times i would be wrong a huge majority of the time. Then times when i take a total where it looks so fishy such that a total is way too high for 2 pitchers... i go over and it stays under easily. But sometimes it would go over which would make no sense. I know some people say the toughest bet to make are usually ones that wins. Yet if thats the case, why is it teams like the Cincinnati Reds team who are the worst team in baseball losing every single game it seems. Yet oddsmaker keep making very low lines for the other team fading the Reds?
Seems like in baseball theres very little room for error at all. Betting an under where bet looks good only for bullpen to blow up. Or just one bad inning making an under go to over. That is the danger of betting unders because one swing of the bat can cost you the under. Yet when overs, either very little scoring or lot of scoring only for no scoring to finish the game.
You always hear how people are excited about baseball when its football or basketball season. Then it goes around vice versa. But I been betting for many years already and baseball has to be the one sport that i think is probably the toughest sport to beat hands down.
