How was that overturned? Call on the field was safe, it does not seem like he got him at all and there was no conclusive evidence on any angle. If anything, there seemed to be a gap between his arm and the catcher's glove on a few angles.
Doesn't surprise me that this game went in this direction considering that the ump Reynolds was giving Mariners all the key calls but it's still hard to believe that the Replay would overturn that call.

I was on the Blue jays too, which also cost me my parlay. I believe in this theory that in the last game of the night the underdog usually wins, everyone's parlays are riding on the favourite. Sucks though because if that run crosses the plate which it did then Romano comes in and Jays win. This is why I prefer playing totals now. Favourites and overs are bettors fantasies, bet underdogs and unders and win $. Robbie Ray vs Seattle's very poor hitting vs LHP is the only reason I took this game. From a handicapping perspective, the Jays were the right pick, IMO. Oh well.
P.S. I remember back in University I took a class called "Sports Economics". In one lesson we learned about how every sports league has an economic incentive for the home teams to win. It's simple, really. More wins for the home team means more gate revenue, more returning customers, etc. etc. Now, if I were to say it's "rigged" for the home teams I would get flamed. But as you mentioned, Seattle got all the key calls from the umpire and from the video review officials. Take it for what you will. T

It looked like he definitely touched his arm with zero space between glove and forearm.
@Eddy_Winslow 100 percent with one out you don't risk the double play with one of best hitters in baseball up next. You knew it was going to be a bang bang play.No bad call or controversy, just a bad coaching call to send the runner.
