Posada was a good player and won a lot of championships but as a Redsox fan I hated him and would love to see him in the lineup tonight stinking it up.

Posada has hit .300 in the last 45 days..

Montero mauled lefties in AAA.....an article in the NY Post today said he would DH against most lefties....

Yea. He also had a killer August and admitted to pressing in Spring and throughout the season.

He'll start against some lefties and play mop-up innings behind the plate. Just to give him a feel.

And Posada has had a tail of 2 seasons and isn't consistant. He raked for 2 different parts of this seson but has been horrible all the other times. It's more like he's raked for 1/4 of the season and has been horrible for the other 3/4.

They're even saying that he has a chance to make the postseason roster to be a DH against lefties if he proves himself.

Great to see him starting his career off right. If he started poorly and the fans started booing him...who knows how he'd handle it.
