Judge and Rizzo

If you want to see what a cowardice choke looks like in real time, look no further than Judge dropped a routine fly ball for his first error in 170 games and Fat bastard Rizzo not running to first to end the inning and keep the score 5-0.

Rizzo might be the biggest pos in MLB history. I’ve never seen what he did in my life. Incomprehensible

You sound like the mush I was sitting next to in Vegas during the game. He was crying about Rizzo the entire rest of the game when it was clearly Cole’s fault. He never played baseball before and I’m sure you didn’t either. You do realize he was 15-20 feet away from the bag and Bets was flying down the line. There was 100% no chance Rizzo could have got to the bag. You make so many threads and say nothing. It’s remarkable.

Does nobody think before they post...that is on the Pitcher not the 1st baseman so stop with this...you are trying to win a game in the world series, an elimination one at that, so both should make an effort to try to record the out, but based on baseball principles alone it would tell you that the pitcher is to run towards first base once the ball is hit to the first base side knowing that the first baseman needs to field the ball...it's baseball 101 for anyone who ever played the game...the problem is, Cole just stopped and did not continue his efforts towards first...dumb on his part....not sure if he gets Betts or not, but the effort failed him there...In having said that, these guys are human and errors happen...we, as spectators, just don't want to see them nor do we expect them because these are professional athletes....however, even professionals in other jobs make errors or have lapses in judgement all the time...it happens...Cole pitched a helluva game up until that point and then it unraveled for him...I would be talking more about the Judge obvious error than I would about Cole and Rizzos play at first....Judge completely botched that whereas the play at first with Cole and Rizzo would have been close even if Cole had Usain Bolt speed to the bag...

And Action, you do bitch a lot for some reason....don't know why that is...had you opened the thread up with debating the issue of the play versus how you did you might have different results....it is Halloween so maybe you are just dressing the part...

This game was a microcosm of yanks season. Hod awful base running and mental lapses on the field.  They remind me of a beer league softball team.  Hit 6 HR a game, but gives the other team extra out every inning.
