BayArea342 - Yes, the RL is even money, but I can't do that either. I've seen many home teams up 2 or more runs and let the visiting team score in the 9th to get within 1 run and they home team only wins by 1 and your RL wager is a loser.

I'm not trying to talk him out of his wager; it is his money.

I don't like RL wagers on home favs. Seems like they hit only when the opposition has something good to offer. Brewers look like they have zilch here. Therefore, Pirates ml is all I can see. No logic to this I know, except home favs win very little on the rl.

Why not consider the Oakland A&#x27;s instead?  Colon is on fire, he&#x27;s 10-2 overall but has won the last 7 straight.  In those last 7 games that he started, his ERA is 1.41.  Miller for the Cardinals is 8-5 overall but has lost 2 of his last 3 starts.  I think this is just as likely to win as the Pirates, but the line is -115 instead of -200.

I think the Pirates will win easily again.  The Brewers are a mess in every department.  They&#x27;ve got too many players up from Triple A right now, and those guys don&#x27;t look major league-ready.

The Pirates were -179 at Pinnacle when I posted that about 7 hours ago.  They&#x27;ve since climbed all the way up to -210!  Now the Pirates are a terrible play at that price.
