What a difference 5 days make in the MLB.  Last Wed KC was riding high, tied for 1st with a 5-2 lead in the 7th vs Cleve and a great chance to take a 1 game lead in the central.  After a few bloop hits and a couple misplays they lose that game 7-5.  The next night in Hou they have a 3-2 lead in the 8th with one out, they get an ez double play ball, but the pitcher tries to field it bare handed, drops it and with the only play at first, throws the ball into the runner who breaks the thumb of their 100 rbi first baseman.  They lose that game 6-3 and havent come close to winning since.  Cleve comes to KC at 3pm.  Wacha is pitching for KC but they wont pull out of their funk.  Fading KC going forward.

Way too many “streaks” this season in MLB.  How does KC almost sweep Cleveland and then get swept by the Astros who are honestly not great this year.  Such an odd season.

Astro's 25 games over .500 last 90.....

Was thinking the same thing, whats even more insane is how close the cubs and tigers are getting to that wild card. 

-30 yesterday....Cinn/Hou both failed to get big hits.  Alot of LOB in scoring position, so came in 1 run short of a push.  Fading KC and Cubs today.

Boston has problems of their own. BoSox are a .500 team, maybe.  KC will probably limp to 3rd WC ....Sea and Det are the two most likely to pass KC for #3.  Midnight didnt strike for KC a rash of devastating injuries did. (Larenzen, Vinny P., Harvey, Renfro, and Erceg all have gone down in the last 10 days)  A week ago they had the second best run differential in all of MLB.  They were no fluke.
