KC vs Yanks

I love the value on Kennedy today as he's been by far the Royals most consistent starter this year. Eovaldi can be great one day and garbage the next but is typically good at home. I'm leaning KC at this price but am I being bias? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Personally I don't think KC is a very good baseball team at all.  I think they got extremely lucky the last two years, caught lightning in a bottle and had lights out bullpen pitching to get them through the playoffs.  Everyone seems to be coming back down to Earth this year as evidenced by them being sub .500 for the first time since 2014.  Their starting pitching is atrocious and their offense is weak.  Maybe they win tonight, maybe they don't, but I wouldn't bet this team anymore as I expect them to fade back into mediocrity for the next few years.

leaning yankees myself all eovaldi has to do is pitch through six innings. betances, miller and chapman all good to go tonight

So not 1 but 2 great seasons and that's lighting in a bottle?

Lightning in a bottle during the playoffs.  They never should have even been in that position in 2014 but the As choked the play in game.  That nearly led them to the improbable. 

They're not a good team though.  JMO.

KC has had a rough start, but they been hitting the last few days. Neither is good, but the yanks are worse in my opinion. The yanks got a better pen, but as I like to say, 'it don't matter how good your putting game is if you can't get to the green!'

I'm not sure how you can get to consecutive World Series, lose one in game 7, win the next, and be lucky. With that said I agree we're not the team we were last year but the last time I checked the Yankees aren't exactly the class of the AL East. The bullpens are practically a wash (yes I give a slight edge to NYY) I like the way we've been hitting in Yankee stadium. Already locked it

I love the Royals tonight. I am a Jays fan, and I am certainly not biased here ;)

KC has pretty even runs per game with NYY, a much better bullpen, and I like 2.13/1.08 better than NE's 4.78, 1.35 ERA/WHIP in '16. IK has has much better situational stats tonight as well.

The decisive factor for me is KC getting +121 when the line should be KC -110. All these factors plus the extra +EV, KC is the right pick. Cheers and good luck

This is why you fade homer picks too. The guy doesn't watch from an objective standpoint. KC is a bad baseball team.

Yankees was the easiest bet of the day. If I were you I'd stick to fading KC. Bad bad bad baseball team. Luckiest team to win the World Series I'm the history of the sport in my mind. Bunch of bums.

Haha..seriously. But kc how can u say ny has only a slight edge in the bullpen. Their bullpen is 10 times better. And eovaldi can deal man. Oddsmakers had these games on point
