Now hitting sub .185. Oh those tricky NL pitchers.
hmmm, and he played hard ball to get the contract signed before opening day.... threatening to walk end of season.... I would of called that bluff all day

He made a ridiculous play at short but yea, stole money from the Mets. The crowd booing him is pretty intense though, I wonder how he feels about being booed by his own home team this early.

@Idle_Hands
I'd be embarrassed to demand and receive that sort of money and hit like he's hitting. Do the Mets have a hitting coach- ya know someone to tell Lindor to get the bat off his shoulder during the pitchers wind up?

Question is, why does a player who carried the Indians for years turn to garbage so quickly? Playing in NY? NL pitching? All that money made him sorry? Just doesn't make sense.

@RebelTell2
I've seen players switch leagues where they don't know or see the pitchers although interleague helps a little. They don't play this badly. I think Lindor's swing is fundamentally flawed. He rests in the batters box with the wood on his shoulder and he doesn't take the bat off his shoulder. It's a very lazy way of batting and not something he did in Cleveland. I've noticed it this year- I just can't fig out why a coach won't tell him to get the lumber off his shoulder and act like you are ready to hit the fkng ball.

I'm sure playing in New York, the ball change and facing pitchers for the first time do not help. DJ LeMahieu has been far worse than he was last year as well as a point of comparison.

@NaciremaDream
In 2019, La Mahieu batted .327 w 26 homers. There was little to no adjustment from the NL to the AL for him. Nothing like this Lindor debacle. It sounds crazy but sending Lindor down to Syracuse would help him and the team- this is getting ridic.
