Lucky bets on the Red Sox and Pirates, then the Marlins and Cleveland

It's interesting how things work. I've been analyzing my bets by looking at pitcher performance, ballparks, and winning or losing trends, but that doesn't always help. Yesterday, I kept it simple. I chose two underdogs: the Pirates and Red Sox. I picked the Pirates because Seattle has been struggling, and I went with the Red Sox for their strong performance against left-handed pitchers.

I did well by not overthinking it. For the next round, I'm going to bet on the Marlins and Cleveland straight up. I've seen Bellozo pitch, and he looks really good. Cleveland has a decent chance of winning, even as an underdog. The only downside with the Marlins is their weak offense. But we'll see what happens.

So, choosing the Marlins at +172 and the Guardians at +105.

(odd just now prior to seeing your thread) spent last while looking at mia/mets under 1h ... 4- but would take an alt number... then i was looking at playing tie 1st inning...and maybe parlay tie 1st and 2nd inning... AND THEN I THOUGHT WHAT AM I DOING UP... anyway i sure did notice that kid starting for mia... best of luck on the game ....          did not play anything as i like to be around live play and will likely be

Yeah, the pitcher for the Marlins is in that fresh-to-the-market phase where I'm not sure if it's something in his approach, his stuff, or the lack of scouting that's causing his success. But he's doing great, so I'll roll the dice on him today. He threw a gem against the Phillies last time out.

so am up and going i see mets down 2-3 bottom 9th with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs.. wow... but that the 1st and 2nd tie parlay would a worked and 1h under would a worked... would a could a should a .. one out now gonna be tight..hope mia hangs on for ya .....1ST AND 3RD 2 OUTS NOW... Looks like the Guardians on verge of major collapse.  May play themselves right out of playoff picture in another week.

Yeah, that was interesting. The leading (F3) hit, the under 0.5 in the first inning hit, and the Marlins scoring first hit. The total under hit as well, plus the ML bet hit.

Bellozo seems to be a really good bet for (F3) and Marlins scoring first. They just can't seem to put any offense together throughout the whole game. But that dude reminds me of Carlos Zambrano. He's going to be good.

Yeah, it's sad. They are the anti-A's, getting worse as the season goes. I thought the + bet was worth a shot considering the circumstances. But whatever. The Marlins winning turned my day positive.
