Mets at Dodgers, game 6
I listened to the Dodgers broadcasters at the beginning of game 5 as Flaherty was getting shelled. They were as incredulous as I was that the Dodgers treated it like a spring training game. One announcer said something prophetic as Roberts left Flaherty in, “You still have to win 4 games.”
In sports, you can’t pick and choose which games you are going to try to win, especially against this version of the Miracle Mets. Dodgers thought they had this series won after game 4. Mets win this series.
