My only top play of the year goes tonight, a game in which I think the dog is the very likely winner.
2* Mets +114
Milwaukee has to go with rookie starter Tobias Meyers who pitched well all season but seemed worn out down the stretch. Several of his outings were limited to four innings. He has given up 30 hits his last 25 innings and that's bad now that he has to face a Mets team loaded with hitters. Jose Quintana has been outstanding down the stretch for the Mets. He has a 2.18 ERA his last seven starts and and 2.98 over the entire second half of his season. That's borderline elite. Jackson Chourio, the best player on either team, carried the Brewers last night (only player other than Babe Ruth to hit two game-tying HRs in same post-season game) but Milwaukee's veteran power hitters have been AWOL. The dog is the very likely winner here.
