Well I had mixed fortunes in April, won £6000 but only withdrew £2500 (from my £1100 starting roll) and ended up making fundamental errors which saw me waste the rest of it A gung ho style of play will never win in the long term and I found this out the hard way...
Anyway moving on, I have adopted a new approach with low stakes betting. I deposited a mere £65 on Monday and have built this up to £117 at the end of play Thursday. As the title suggests I really want to see how far I can make this go, as the enjoyment factor of this far supasses the need and desire for instant success. I understand this is sod all for most people but hey I'm having fun and slowly getting there!
For the meantime I am currently playing the martingale chase system. I know others are doing the same but I am picking my own series and so far this has been successful. My side plays mainly consist of 0 runs in the 1st innings. I love this bet right now and with extensive research generally hope I can top up my balance gradually.
Deposit: £65
Balance: £117.15
Difference: +£52.15
Chase System: 2-0 (+£20.00)
Side Plays: 9-5-1 (+£32.15)
Friday 11-5-12
Chase selection: LA Dodgers
Projected Starters:
Moyer vs Capauno
Nicasio vs Harang
TBD vs Lilly
LA have obviously started the season well and a key factor to this is their impressive home form (12-3). Colorado however are presently 13-17 which includes a 5-7 road record and only 3 wins in their last 10 games. I love the pitching match up here and cannot see the Dodgers dropping a game in this series, let alone getting swept. I hope to take the money game 1 with a surprisingly good Chris Capuano on the mound against Jamie Moyer who I believe will be out of his depth against this lineup.

I like Norris, always seems to be a dog but you know he will keep the Stros in the game. Houston's offence can get pretty brutal on occasion and I cannot see the Pirates beating anyoneby 2 runs. Bit juicy for my liking but cannot see this losing.
RISK £18 to win £10 (-180)
Toronto Blue Jays - 1 run
Twins cannot get anything going for them at the moment and subsequently the Jays seem to be showing their potential at last. Blackburn is a pitcher I have never rated whilst Drabek has impressed me so far.

I appreciate the small money plays. I am a $5-$15 bettor myself. I do it for the fun and if I will a little money for beer here and there its all good.

BOL to you too
The money is nice but the fun of the game is what hooks me. If I can make money in the process, I will be a happy man. Free beer always tastes better.
