TB pitching can give up a bunch of runs today and easily pull out the win. You are right about Means vs Yarborough but we all know you can't just pick the better pitcher and win every game. This ain't 1975-1995. Especially with a partially juiced ball. The best laid schemes of mice and men...
Making money on Means last 4, numbers are no secret:
GM 4/IP 28.1 WHIP .53 Opp AVG .118 ERA .95 K/BB 26.5% FIP 2.82 BABIP .131
Those numbers are insane and most of all: not sustainable.
So Means turns into a noodle arm today? I'm not saying that. But I consider:
Yarborough, throwing out Apr 30th start where he got roughed up in HOU he is pitching like a slightly above average utility pitcher:
GM 2/IP 7.1 WHIP 1.23 Opp AVG .269 ERA 1.23 K/BB 16.1% FIP 2.86 BABIP .350
Today is a good day to choose when BAL loses a Means start. BAL is 2-8 Last 10 and Means started 2 of those games. BAL overall -30 on the DIFF Right now TB is steam rolling and TB is +27 on the DIFF TB is W5 streak If BAL is going to lose another of Means starts and Means is going to regress it's today vs TB. This is a division game ball is less juiced but hitting is somewhat more important than it used to be and TB whacking the stuffing out of the ball - I like this play alot.
On vacation from work for two weeks, out on the patio at my parents' place, Dad is 86 mom 81. Gonna be grilling real soon. On my 2nd beer. Been in the US at my folks since the start of Covid in Feb 2020. At times it was rough but one of the best things has been spending time with the folks here in the US and sports betting. Covers forum a big part of that.
Life is short, things are always better than you think, is medium rare OK for everyone?

There is a place in South beach called "Rare". I never miss having a meal at the bar there when I am passing through from South America to the USA. I purposely try to stay a few days in SB or just do the long layover 11AM to 8:30PM on purpose and spend the day bumming around. Rare usually sets me back > $125.
