For years, Yankees lines were skewed because they were, well, the Yankees and tended to be overbet.  Not this year.  NYY has third best flat bet ROI in baseball and today's game shows why.  They're a dog to Minnesota despite having won three in a row and going with a pitcher who virtually always wins.  NYY 7-1 in Schmidt starts.  Twins have scored only one run in the first two games of the series and the top Yankees receivers didn't pitch last night.  Yankees' weakness has been the hitting but that is changing as Judge has awakened and is on a huge tear; 4-4 last night and now up to 11 HRs and a .255 BA after being under .200 not long ago.

No play for me today though. Minny was hot might cool down a bit and get swept. But also like good home teams off shutout. Toss up here

A point of clarification on my pick, I am choosy in baseball and play almost exclusively dogs.   My record using this user name at a now-defunct site (bc) in baseball was well documented and outstanding in baseball.   I admit I like to play streaks as baseball, in my opinion, is a game of streaks.  (It's just hard to catch them before it's too late.)  Colorado's recent run is an example of how even crappy teams can get real hot.

To me, the Yankees winning the first two is a positive and not a negative.  That being said, the Twins are very good and at home which is why they are the small favorite.
