The St. Louis Cardinals are ice cold, losers of 6 of their last 7 games. Would you believe they've only scored more than 3 runs ONCE in their last 11 games? It'll be tough to get back in the win column tonight, as starter Matthew Liberatore has horrific numbers on the road. Over the course of his career, he's allowed 24 earned runs in 27.1 innings. I checked his game logs, this wasn't a situation in which he got blown up, he's consistently pitched poorly in away games. On the flip side, Dane Dunning has been flat nasty since becoming a starter. He has a 2.28 ERA over the past month and has only allowed 3 earned runs in 18 innings at home. That equates to a 1.41 ERA at Globe Life Field. Unbelievably, Dunning hasn't allowed any round trippers in 48 innings this season. Bruce Bochy's club is on a heater, winners of four in a row and 13-3 in their last 16 games. Texas at -155 is by far the best bet on Tuesday's MLB card.
