Padres: Just about everyone knows (or should) Lamet is a tough nut to crack, but many may not realize the Cardinals are not a great righty hitting team and are only 48-47-12 versus righty starters in the head-to-head category this year. In a pitcher’s park the Padres are only a little short of the Cardinals for offensive potential.
Under: We know about Lamet, I don’t need to address that, but; Flaherty may not be so bad as his first start at San Francisco looked like. Yeah, the e.r.a. stunk but he did record a 6:1 K/BB ratio and a 2:1 ground ball out rate. There is every possibility he could settle down in his second start and lower the e.r.a., while not damaging the other two good ratios.
Might be back with another later, not sure yet. Let the lines move a little.
I owe two apologies this morning:
PlayWithThem: Correct sir. I let my fingers engage the keyboard before putting my brain in gear. The true and accurate loss is (as of today) -$1,744.07, or 6.48% of the $26,900.00 wagered on 269 games with a settlement.
BadBear72: Sorry I did not get back to you on the Under 8. I just get so darn frustrated with this site I take it down and ignore it for the balance of the day. Yes I would have confirmed Under 8, especially if you picked up some juice in compensation for the half run. I always want to respond to honest questions and did not mean to ignore you.
