There is not a lot to be said about this game except that the Nats/Parker are not receiving the respect they should. Better stats and projections across the board, and if folks think the Rockies are some sort of high scoring juggernaut at home they better check out the Rockies vs lefty. Very good lefty, poor offense, who do you think does the scoring? The Nats are 7-4 their last 11 five inning games and scoring at rate of 53.4 points vs an MLB average of 37.2. I will grant Quantrill he has been very good at Coors Field, a rarity for pitchers, but the overall projections are much in favor of Parker.  I compute a 69.7% win probability the first 5 innings. That is high enough for a run line bet, but I will respect Quantrill’s ability to pitch at Coors and keep the push possible.

Play at your own risk! I have been streaky as a comet lately, I hit that string of starters that went 45 innings in 5 inning games (9) and surrendered only 2 earned runs. Remarkable, but now my offenses can’t back them up!  Sheesh!

Loved yesterday. Riding again this evening.

Truer words were never spoken. Most of them look at the TV schedule before ever looking at the games or their probabilities. Part of what makes a degen a degen I guess.

 Had to have 2 jobs with the way the EX spent money,

funny but back in 80 when I started tending bar full time, we had a guy(Bartender) that was hooking up guests with some local talent, he did well as the hotel guest would tip him and the girl would "tip" him after. Hotel heard about it and brought in the undercover people to run them out, so I stayed out of that business but did give a few heads up over the years. Just being the nice guy I am.
