POD #1 - cubbies under 7 -112 - 10 units
Imanaga has picked up where he left off last year. In 2 starts against 2 of the better offenses in the dodgers and backs he has thrown 11 innings and allowed 1 run 3 hits despite walking 6. He allowed 2 run 7 hits against padres last year which was ironically the same match up as today with Vasquez. Vasquez allowed a lucky 0 runs in his 1st start vs braves with lots of base traffic. He is the x factor here. Last year he allowed 1 run 6 hits vs cubs in 4+ innings and if he can replicate that with rested and great pads pen we can get the same 3- 2 score as last year. POD #2 - braves under 7.5 -115 - 10 units
The 0-7 braves come home tonight to face the terrible marlins who have overindexed so far and whose lineup is as bad as it gets. Braves have scored 1 run or less in 4 games and 14 total in 7 and while they have faced the 2 best pitching staffs they have huge problems. Acuna being out is a drastic loss and the man who could of replace him profar has been suspended for 80 games. Add to it Murphy still out at catcher and them starting a backup catcher and arcia and darnaud leaving in free agency it leaves them 4 deep in their lineup. The marlins start stud pitcher Mayer and he had a strong first outing vs the pirates allowing 2 runs and should fare well today. Schwellenbach is a monster and I expect him to dominate the marlins lineup today. Braves should get their first win 4-2
