I'm alive. Made it out of Saturday dropping more units than Berlusconi drops at a strip club at 3AM. By far the worst day of the year for me, but hey, it happens. But alas...covers.com has the haters if you go through a day like this. Cantwin1 or whatever tried to claim he was here to help everyone here, and that he made $70,000 in one night, to which one poster stated the obvious, "I doubt if you made 70K tonight you'd be on covers posting a lot of bullshit." Disgrace. Before him, there was Sparty4444 who said I threw money at random games that I don't cap, and that the White Sox play was "luck". Notice how neither of these two individuals mentioned the fact that they have didn't post a thread or pick their own games, and only posted after a game I took was losing already. Can1win1 whatever his name is here yesterday attempted to start shit while the Phillies were losing, only to be nowhere in sight when they ended up winning the game. He claims that he hits 70K a night while hitting 100% of his plays. Right. And he's on covers.com at midnight preaching his greatness. In my thread. But remember, he means "no harm" and he's "here to help". Uh huh. I've seen hundreds of idiots come and go on this site...not really that bothered, but it just shows how sad people can be.

I know though, that those who've been tailing the last month have made a killing, so it's not the "worst" thing in the world. But it's not a good result obviously. After 100,000 views over the last few days, I want to give you guys an insight of what it takes me to truly cap a game. I go to at least 6 different sites with stats pertaining to that particular matchup. I read team blogs, local newspapers sports sections online, follow countless realtime and twitter feeds. I check pitcher stats/splits, day/night/turf/grass/night/day, etc. It may be more than I need to do, but I want to make sure that I don't miss anything. Anywhere. I wake up at 8AM and study as much as I can until 1PM, or whenever the game is. I breathe baseball, and a day like this is unacceptable. I'm fairly surprised at myself today too.......mind you, I can easily blame the bullpen meltdowns I was on the wrong side of today. But then again, I could have been on the right side of those and been hailed as a genius. I'll update later, but I'm still + lots of units from baseball. This is the house's money I'm playing with. Let's keep building it up, and see where we go. I hope all who read me/follow me have had a good week, and had a good day today outside of gambling. This is what this site is all about. A brotherhood. A team. Not a bunch of crybabys/haters who have no damn clue of such things.
