I like your plays.  Very solid.  Bases is a slow build.  I'm on mostly dogs tomorrow again.  Will stay with this strategy until mid may.

 Now I have been on this site for YEARS.. I never post. I read a lot and then place my OWN bets. but just my 2 cents.. take it of leave it..

Keep up what ur doing. dont get caught up in the haters.. just ignore them. hard to do, but ya gotta. they will take u off ur game plan. you had a bad day.. It's Gambling.. your gonna. F the haters. I am a total amateur at MLB handicapping. I appreciate the insight and research that goes into picks by experienced cappers like MM. Statistics are an integral part of baseball, particularly with regard to pitching analysis.

Guys like MM do the work and rookies like me benefit.

Anyways, I can't begin tell anyone who followed me on Saturday how badly I feel about today. I know though, that those who've been tailing the last month have made a killing, so it's not the "worst" thing in the world. But it's not a good result obviously. After 100,000 views over the last few days, I want to give you guys an insight of what it takes me to truly cap a game. I go to at least 6 different sites with stats pertaining to that particular matchup. I read team blogs, local newspapers sports sections online, follow countless realtime and twitter feeds. I check pitcher stats/splits, day/night/turf/grass/night/day, etc. It may be more than I need to do, but I want to make sure that I don't miss anything. Anywhere. I wake up at 8AM and study as much as I can until 1PM, or whenever the game is. I breathe baseball, and a day like this is unacceptable. I'm fairly surprised at myself today too.......mind you, I can easily blame the bullpen meltdowns I was on the wrong side of today. But then again, I could have been on the right side of those and been hailed as a genius. I'll update later, but I'm still + lots of units from baseball. This is the house's money I'm playing with. Let's keep building it up, and see where we go. I hope all who read me/follow me have had a good week, and had a good day today outside of gambling. This is what this site is all about. A brotherhood. A team. Not a bunch of crybabys/haters who have no damn clue of such things.

Now...I've been looking at the Mets/Marlins game...I see Dickey is on the hill vs Javy. Javy is an NL pitcher. Every way you slice it, he is much more suited for the National League. Plus...he owns the Mets. Onto R.A. I've been reading a lot of articles this morning about the weather and knuckleballs, and I came across this NY Times piece about how the topic. Granted, it's 7 years old, but the science behind it is still the same.

Read that...at least the top part of it. Now...knuckleballs are awesome in the colder weather. See? So today, against the Marlins, I expect that pitch to flatten out more than usual today. They tend to flatten out when it's warmer...when it's cold out, trying to hit a knuckleball is like trying to hit a brick. When it's warm out, not so much. What's the temperature in Miami Gardens getting up to today? 86 degrees.


I'll be on the Fish today because of all of this, as well as the fact the Marlins should have won that game last night. GL

I have been watching your thread since beginning of pre-season and have made a lot of money with you...  I got to be honest though, you are creating all of this BS drama going on in your thread... DON'T stoop down to these haters level and respond to the messages and get DRAMA started...  HAVE the strength to ignore the BS posts and they will go away.. By you telling them to F__CK off and stuff it just fuels the fire for them to stick around and piss everyone off more.. Keep the attitude up.  Don't let these guys get to you.  Kind of tough here because BB is played everyday and these guys can go to town on you everyday.  Your good capping skills are evident and your research sounds great.
