I have a future on the Dodgers winning the World Series so I'm not sure how much more I want to invest in them as I'm not sure how reliable the pitching will be given their mounting injuries. And it's hard not to like the Mets makeup as they are an underrated hitting team in my opinion and their starting pitching has been really good. I see Senga tonight giving them 3, maybe 4, but I do think the Dodgers get a run or two off of him.
Flaherty has been a tick better on the road since he's joined the Dodgers and tonight the game is at home, where is also slightly worst at night. Not big split differences, but enough to make me think the Mets also get to him. I think it's really hard to count out the Mets even when they are down in the late innings. Effectively though, I think the Dodgers will win this game but the price is pretty high and with a future on them already and my confidence not sky high due to the bullpen injuries, I don't want to get bit late in the game. Add the Mets rigor and fight and I am taking:
OVER 8 (NYM/LAD)
Will definitely have a play on tomorrow's game. For now, hoping for a strong offensive showing for both clubs, with the Dodgers winning in the end. As always, tail or fade, good luck to all....
