So I've had a good start to the MLB season so I thought I would share some insight.
I'm big on Houston tonight as they have not only played well but their bats know how to hit at Angel stadium. Historically all of the Astros lineup performs well here. I expect regression for Quintana. Hes a lefty who is starting to lose steam with age. Luis Garcia is undervalued in my opinion here and should perform well. Lots of good right handed bats for the astros and Quintana hasnt performed well at Angel stadium in the past. Houston is the minor dog play.
San Francisco- This is a fairly big dog play. San diego's lefty hasnt performed well at home in the past. I expect him to have trouble with this Giants team full of righties that statistically have been hammering against lefties. Not only that, but almost the entire Giants lineup tonight hits over .300 at Petco Park. Giants relievers are rested which helps. Desclafani who is dealing for the Giants has performed well at Petco when playing for the Reds. Even with this stout Padres lineup they havent been blowing me away. The Padres relief pitching unit is banged up and not exactly rested. Edge to the Giants.
Without much explanation I will be backing two faves tonight but both carry some value as vegas doesnt have them lined as overwhelming faves. But I will be on the Chicago White Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
As always good luck with any sides you fellas are on!
Cheers!
