I will rarely have a play on favorites, only because I don't see value in a lot of them. With the season as long as it is, being able to find teams and pitchers in a good spots will always give yourself a chance to win. Being able to collect plus-money on underdog Ws allows the bettor to profit even if hitting sub-.500.

Gator11 - Yeah, I hate to go w/ Tampa since I am a Red Sox fan, but that's the conclusion I have come to from a bettors perspective. In case you're interested in statistics/trends (most of which, including this one, I believe to have absolutely zero to do w/ capping the game), the Sox are 0-2 all-time against the Rays on Patriot's Day. I am trying my best, especially until we get further into the season, to stick to the criteria I have set for myself. Miami actually meets all pieces of my criteria except for one. I am going to continue to watch movement on this game as well as the Padres game. I think Miami has a lot of value, but in an effort to stay disciplined and consistent, I can't make a move yet.
