I have said before I like the kid and Hammel certainly is no slouch either. Bad weather has given the Dodgers two days off and the Orioles one and that is not necessarily a good thing. The early start is not conducive to high energy and aggressive play either. The two chuckers have more at stake than the offenses here and I will side with them. The Orioles have never seen Ryu and that is a pitcher’s advantage. The last time the Dodgers saw Hammel he was with the Rockies in August of 2011 and since both he and the Dodgers are radically different now any prior history is ancient history and absolutely worthless as far as this game goes. Wind should be about 17 mph out to right and I do not consider that a problem.
Lynn should be in a bounce back mode today after getting his arse kicked in his last start and Lee is always aggressive with a shut-down-strike-them-out mentality. The Cardinals offense has been impressive so far but not necessarily against lefties, posting just 3 earned runs in 14 innings versus Zito and Hamels. Jerry Layne behind the plate is fairly neutral and that is something I can live with in this case. Wind should be across the field from left to right and I don’t see that as a major problem.

Wonder who is DH-ing for the Doyers. Hammel much better away from Cors. That prev mgr for the Rocks just ruined a lot of stats there w/ that 4 man rotation and leaving guys in there too long...

By golly you're right, haha. It will be corrected tomorrow and is not as important as the units and ROI anyway, and those are almost fail-safe the way I have them set up.
