Obviously they dont. Key acts like a pro gambler and even writes like one. He likes the attention. I remember a guy Cam or something similar a few years ago who bet mainly unders and he acted quite similar probably a bit more impulsively and got big views. It's just a cloud of insincerity if one tries to ensure they are special and noone else is. Which is pretty-much how Key portrays himself.

He had posted it at the beginning of the year. If I remember correctly
the guy broke even. But not sure. Perhaps one of his many followers can
confirm
If only Lord Key could follow one of his own threads. May be we are too below him. I don't remember him posting last years reord but he may have. I do remember him saying how he has posted substantial profits over the last 5 years or words to that effect.

Did Key ever release his last year record? No I didn't think so. I remember it. Anyone else?
I remember it. I don't think its worth talking about as hopefully people don't have static handicapping from year to year. I know my MLB models last year were brutal (-11 units), but this year they've proved to be a gold mine after significant adjustments (+47 units).
Fact of the matter is Key had a decent hot streak. No different than my 26-3-3 MLB run on Streak Survivor in July or any other sub 200 pick sample size hot streak by anyone else.
What people should learn from Key is the methodology and the money management. The picks themselves are good but nothing special. The important thing is that until 90% of gamblers, after his hot streak, he didn't go and give it all back the next few weeks.
And before Key (or one of his groupies) gets offended and rebuts this post, my actual handicapping is documented on blue bird and has over an 8% RoR across all sports for the past 2 years.
I respect Key, his experience, his methodology, and his mentality about gambling. I've learned a lot from him in his time posting. Everyone should try learning something from him about how to handicap. Don't just blindly tail. That goes for anyone posting picks on Covers or anywhere else.

What has he said in his methodology or money managment which the average capper doesn't know? Don't get sucked into home field advantage, stick to strict money mangement routine which he didnt yesterday, look for biases against good pitchers, and look for batting trends against left or righties etc etc. Key is not adequately mindful of umpires, nor bullpens, nor at times on good money managment. Nor is he transparent on his past record.
Please tell me one thing Key has said the average capper wouldn't already take into account.

It's all a matter of opinion. There are haters all over covers, the main reason I don't post much anymore, and I'm not sure why people feel the need to bash him. There are people who have probably made $$ off him so they follow his picks. To each his own I guess. I have made over $5,000 the past 2 days betting mlb which is better than 99% of people on this forum but I don't see attention. I post here and there but came to the conclusion it's not worth posting much anymore because people are just too stupid. People will always have strong opinions, but the people who are most successful are people who follow their own picks.

Remember what key said: trends mean absolutely nothing. that comment is loaded with arrogance and stupidity as trends are probably the strongest indicator of probability outcome in baseball........period. There is no disputing this. Ask any pro sports gambler ......if you totally ignore trends, and think they mean nothing, you are being extremely niev

I would like key to know I appreciate his contribution to this site. Most people here take and never give therefore their opinion means nothing......:key is definitely a big giver. Always Very knowledgable and insightful. Just needs to take the technical and analytical arrogance down a notch

Learners I am really surprised at you. I have major respect for the capping skills of four or five on this forum including you both. Key typically focusses only on the events themselves. The only times he gets personal are to rebut the comments of others. Surprised you have commented on his persona. Ditto Alien. A capper stands or falls by their record. Nothing else matters. Really surprised. Keep up the good capping and leave words like arrogant at home as they are irrelevant in this field and only your interpretation anyway....

Since people are headed in that direction I will once again give you the
link to the record. Published on a daily basis so your next objection
of "doctored" can be forgotten as worthless. Btw, Covers has deep
archives and if you hate enough to go back and audit, by all means do
so. This link appeared the first week of the season. I have not posted
it daily since then just to keep the daily thread a little cleaner. No
one on this site is as transparent as I have been, and I am not scared
of my long term results as are some of the folks that do publish records
so they can hide behind recent success.
After carefully checking it out I suggest the snipers either
1.Audit
2.Get their crap straight
3. STFU
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn
