Jackson Merrill took over as the favorite to win ROY. 

Not saying Skenes is Michael Jordan - but he probably took that personally and.. well.. he reminded us who should be the favorite.

The article about Merrill came out in the early afternoon yesterday and the Pirates did not play until about 4+ hours later. Plenty of time for you to read the article prior to 1st pitch
