It is simply too hard to turn down a motivated team with momentum at what is likely to be their best price now.
If their bats get hot early they could likely hit Flaherty early. If not, they still have the ability at any time to get to the Dodgers bullpen.
The Yankees are slightly better on the road and the Dodgers are slightly worse at home. This coupled with -- maybe -- a little tightness from being at home may give an advantage to the Yankees, if they are relaxed.
I think this should be a very back-and-forth and a very good series. I also think each game could very likely be very different than the previous game. I do not see any particular trend or way each game will likely play out. I think both teams have great momentum coming into the series. Each game might go any of the three ways -- close game or decent-sized win for either team. I think it simply comes down to how the momentum goes in each game. Then I think you have to apply that to how each team will counter with what went wrong the previous game. It will be very interesting to see how each manager handles their bullpen use, because I think this might be one of the key issues that might factor into each game.
